The Club competed in the first round of the Wiltshire County ASA Moonraker Winter League on Saturday 26^th November at Trowbridge swimming pool. The Moonraker League Galas consist of 39 events which are all relays, covering all disciplines with age groups ranging from 9 years to Open. The relays are all either 4 x 1 length (25 m) or 4 x 2 lengths (50 m) finishing with the ‘Cannon’ which consists of 8 x 1 length Freestyle alternating between girl/boy and starting with swimmers from the 9-12 years, then Under 15, Under 17 and Open age groups. The noise level from cheering teams usually increases as the race progresses.

Girls - Aleasha Caple, Madeline Theobold, Jessica Lloyd, Emily Finch, Lizzie Finch, Eve Rickhuss, Shauna King, Beth Casson, Christina Moreland, Tamara Caple, Ellie Pryor, Rebecca Young, Robyn Caple, Beth Hargreaves,  Zoe Fitzgerald*.

Boys - Edward Austin, Ben Chapman, Thomas Taylor, Ewan Smith, Frazer Humphrey, Jacob Humphrey, Kieren Strong, Aiden King, Jacob White, Anthony Phillips, Daniel Harris, Matthew Dawson*.

There were many good performances against the 5 other teams with Warminster coming 2^nd on the night, although in this league you are actually competing against all 24 teams. Congratulations to all those involved, including the helpers, and especially to first-time swimmer’s Madeline, Jessica and Kieren.
